The Scapular Apostolate hosted its first Gala December 8th at St. Mary's Shrine in Oswgo, NY

A day to honor Our Lady and God

The Apostolate chose the feast of the Immaculate Conception as the date for the Gala to honor Our Blessed Mother who has done so much for us all. Without the Immaculate Conception, where would we be? Thank you, God, for giving us this gift!

She gives us gifts upon gifts

Think of all the wonderful gifts that have come to us because of the Immaculate Conception. First and foremost, without the Immaculate Conception, the world would have no Savior. And because of the Immaculate Conception, we have a mother who is beautiful with countless titles that we can call upon for help, one being, “Cause of Our Joy.” She is the cause of our joy. She brings us to the King of kings, Lord of lords. She is the Mother of Mercy, the Ark of the Covenant.

A great treasure

Throughout the Church’s history, she has constantly given us gifts. One of the most powerful and yet simple gifts is the Brown Scapular. She is the Scapular Queen. It is clear that the world needs this gift today more than ever. The world needs peace and protection. The world needs conversion. Each of us needs salvation, and Our Mother promises salvation through her Garment of Grace.

Our focus

And so, the aim of the Scapular Apostolate is to answer Our Mother and listen to her when she said she “wants everyone to wear the Brown Scapular.”

As we come to the close of this year, we want to ask you to consider making a tax deductible donation to our Apostolate. Whatever gift you give will go towards the Scapular Machine which will make 144,000 scapulars a week. Our next phase for the machine is $125,000 which will be the actual construction of the machine. This machine will be a great start in answering Our Lady’s call.
